the yogic path
Where Traditional Yoga Meets Modern Understanding
YogicPath was created to bring together the depth of traditional yoga with a clearer understanding of the body, mind and science behind the practice.
We study yoga through anatomy, biomechanics, philosophy, pranayama, meditation and traditional teachings — then bring that understanding into real practice and real teaching.

UNDERSTAND
Understand Why You Practice
Go beyond simply performing postures. Learn how the body moves, why alignment matters, how breath influences practice, and how anatomy, biomechanics and traditional yoga knowledge come together.
EXPERIENCE
Learn Through Practice
Knowledge becomes meaningful when you experience it yourself. Through daily practice, observation, meditation, pranayama and teaching, develop a deeper relationship with what you learn.

TEACH
Teach With Clarity & Confidence
Learn how to observe people, communicate clearly, sequence intelligently and make thoughtful adjustments — so you leave your training understanding not only what to teach, but why.

Rishikesh is where my own journey with yoga began and where YogicPath is rooted. Daily practice, philosophy, meditation and life along the Ganges come together to create an experience that goes beyond the classroom.

HEALING · NATURE · STILLNESS
Kerala offers a different way to experience yoga — slower, quieter and deeply connected to nature. Surrounded by tropical landscapes and a rich tradition of Ayurveda and wellness, it creates space to step away from everyday life and turn your attention inward. Here, your training becomes an opportunity to practice, learn and reconnect.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yoga training & experiences in bali, Kerala, Rishikesh
Do I need prior yoga experience to join a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training?
No. You don't need previous teaching experience or advanced yoga skills to join our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. The program is designed to take you from the foundations of yoga through personal practice, philosophy, anatomy, teaching methodology and supervised teaching.
A consistent personal practice is helpful, but you don't need to be an expert. What matters most is your willingness to learn, practice and fully participate in the training.
Do I need to be flexible to become a yoga teacher?
Not at all. Flexibility is not a requirement for becoming a good yoga teacher.
Yoga teacher training is not about performing advanced postures. You'll learn how to understand alignment, movement, breath and modifications so you can work safely with different bodies and levels of ability.
Your own flexibility and strength will develop through consistent practice, but you don't need to arrive flexible.
What is included in the Yoga Teacher Training fee?
Your training fee includes the components specified on your individual program page, which may include yoga teacher training, accommodation, meals, course materials, yoga props and certification.
Because inclusions can differ between Rishikesh, Kerala and Bali, we provide a complete breakdown of what is included and excluded for each training before you book.

Is YogicPath Yoga Alliance registered, and what certification will I receive?
YogicPath's [200-hour program] follows the standards of Yoga Alliance and graduates receive a 200-hour certificate upon successful completion of the training. Students can then use their certificate toward registration with Yoga Alliance, subject to Yoga Alliance's current registration requirements.
Can I teach yoga after completing a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training?
Yes. A 200-hour training is designed to give you the foundational knowledge and practical teaching skills required to begin teaching yoga.
At YogicPath, teaching isn't treated as something you learn only from a textbook. You'll practice sequencing, demonstration, verbal cueing, observation, alignment and teaching under guidance so that you leave with real teaching experience.
Certification is the beginning of your teaching journey, not the end of it.
What styles of yoga are taught at YogicPath?
YogicPath takes a traditional yet practical approach to yoga education.
Depending on the program, your training may include Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa, Ashtanga-based practices, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy, alignment and teaching methodology.
Rather than teaching yoga as only physical postures, we help you understand the practice as a complete system involving the body, breath, mind and awareness.

What is the difference between a 200-hour and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training?
The 200-hour training is your foundational teacher training. It is designed to develop the knowledge, practice and teaching skills needed to begin your journey as a yoga teacher.
The 300-hour training is an advanced program for teachers who already have a foundational 200-hour qualification and want to deepen their knowledge, refine their teaching and explore more advanced aspects of yoga.
Think of it simply:
200HR → Build your foundation.
300HR → Deepen and refine your teaching.
